As a person who has an account, I've actually been avoiding posting logged in because I feel like it's making myself a target.

Anons here seem to remember if you did something that upsets them and keep bringing it up. I feel like I'm walking on eggshells when I post logged in.

I dunno if other people feel that way too.

Well I for one am too intimidated. I started that thread yesterday and deeply fucking regret it because of the responses I got. I am so fucking happy I got to walk away and only bring it up again when I choose to.

But yes, pusillanimous is a wonderful word and I am going to strive to use it everywhere I can.

Less afraid of them and more unnerved at some of the userstalky stuff.

It feels like internet equivalent of some weird guy who always follows you to work and will try to talk to you at work about what they saw you doing on your day off. You don't care what they think of it so much as "leave me the fuck alone"

That's been my experience, too. I never did anything to incite the wrath of some anon with a grudge, but it just got to a point where I really didn't think it was worth the potential anxiety anymore.

And that was about the time I decided to cut back on FS in general, too. This is the first time in about 3-4 months I decided to drop by.

There's also a problem of there being not enough named user, so logged in folk stand out more. Posting anon is more relaxed but difficult to keep track of replies.
