agreed on both counts

except i hold more of a grudge with the supergirl writers than jimmy himself because the whole thing reeks of 'we need to think of reasons to stop jimmy and kara from getting into a relationship too soon'. the whole thing drives me bonkers. if too characters like each other, let them date. why not?

Completely agreed with that first one. I'm not sure how others feel, but I watch TV so I can see characters overcome their traumas. I especially like it when the trauma isn't erased, but becomes a part of their character and something which makes them stronger. Watching people wallow in it is way too much like real life for me.

Honestly I don't mind if it takes awhile for people to work past trauma. Depending on the time-frame of the seasons, well if the season is over the course of a month you can't expect them to heal but if each season is years, or if the trauma happened ages ago and they still haven't gotten past it, then that's different.

I like to see progression from traumas but I don't really expect it to blow over really fast. Just as long as there is progression. Also I don't really mind if there are little things left over.

sexual fetish for victimhood

Don't kinkshame, it's not nice lol.

That said, that's a huge part of why I never watched that. Every other thing seemed to be BUT THE PTSD AND STOCKHOLM SYNDROME.
