nayrt, but it is still a useful suggestion. Every suggestion does not have to be applicable and available to everyone.

sa, sorry that was more terse than I intended. I'm not sure I'd fork over the money myself, but if OP's friend has the money, it's a good suggestion. Plenty of other suggestions in the full thread.

I'm glad someone pointed this out. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to people who'd expressed financial concerns, but since we don't know if OP's friend can afford it or not, it doesn't make sense to omit a potentially helpful answer. It might be useful to someone, after all.
