I don't get this at all, even if you find his appearance shocking.

But I guess it's a personal thing and some people can't help it. (There was a guy on reddit that had a similar experience.)

Glad this didn't happen at my theater. (Mine was packed, but people were quiet; the only sound was an occasional laugh at one of the jokes, or people gasping at some of the more scary or alarming moments. Everyone was so pumped, you could feel a lot of tension, especially during Kylo's scenes.)
