I hate romance novels and a lot of the sexist tropes that go with them, but I really enjoyed 'A Kiss for Midwinter' by Courtney Milan, and now I intend to check out her other stuff.

Perhaps you might enjoy it too, anon! I always say - never rule out an entire genre, whether that's books, music or movies. There'll always be something for you to enjoy.
