I didn't read selectively. I might've failed to catch something, but that's an error, not a form of malice.

So what you're saying is that you stopped watching Heroes because it left you cold? Fine by me. It's not everyone's cup of curare-laced tea. *shrug* By "the Heroes fandom doesn't need you" I meant more that the notional collective of people who like Heroes, whether or not they participate in fandom-community activities, can stand to lose your (presumably minimal) interest in the show.

Well that goes without saying, but most people take text worded that way as "rofl you're below us." Hence unwarranted self importance / pretentiousness is communicated. Yes, the internet is the worst place for debate due to the absence of tone. But it helps to put extra care in wording due to that.

I admit I did a rush job and I'm sorry I came off as rude. Consider it an unwarranted but understandable reaction to the combination of frustration and puzzlement caused by the public response to the secret set.
