I'm not a girl, but doesn't the idea that I would get in a car and drive for hours just to support a friend of mine who's mother had just passed, and I thought he could really use a friend around, appealing? Or that you could break down in tears in front of me, and I would listen to every word and say "everything will be ok," then give reason why it will be? Maybe I am too nice of a guy sometimes, but dammit, being a jerk just doesn't fit the bill for me.
Feh. Thanks for understanding, in any case. I could have explained in the post, but I hate tl;dr post more then anything. Walls of text are rarely fun to read.

I'm fiquring it out, and I know that it's partially my fault when it comes to a botched relationship. With that, I am working on making a few changes to myself and not becoming a whiney ronry loser. I think part of it is learning to advertise your good qualities and making sure you show a little self confidence from time to time.
But you have to admit, some girls are real poopieheads. D:<
