Thinking of Sasquatch Padalacki before going to sleep would give me nightmares quite honestly

I kind of wish that Supernatural would go back to urban-legend monsters-of-the-week, just so we could see Sam and Dean fistfighting a Sasquatch or something.

It would be rad as hell.

Well, insomnia is a horrible thing after all, especially if it goes on for a long time.

I'm glad to hear you found a (completely healthy, non dangerous) solution.

No need to shit on pharmaceutical sleep aids. Some people need them and that's okay as long as they're not abused.

Trazodone 4 Life! Best thing that ever happened to me, no grogginess, no fear of developing a tolerance or addiction, I can finally sleep like a normal human being. <3

Ambien here. Trazadone gives me 12hr straight night terrors. *shudders* Seroquel and amitryptiline on the side help keep me asleep but I need the ambien to get my brain to STFU so I can sleep. Whee, med cocktail.

No need to shit on OP's secret either. There's no disputing that a visualization technique is far better for your body than a pharmaceutical.

(Anonymous) 2016-01-07 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
I dispute it.

(Anonymous) 2016-01-07 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, this.

(Anonymous) 2016-01-07 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
This is kind of sweet.

Maybe it's because he's a character that has so much chaotic stress and need for vigilance in his life and so many reasons not to sleep that seeing him able to do so in a secure-looking way gives a mental signal of "it's ok to sleep, too"?

(Anonymous) 2016-01-07 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
That's okay, OP. I deal with my stress-related sleep problems by listening to ASMR roleplay videos where I go to a spa or a fairytale kingdom or something.

What a lovely thought to fall asleep to. If it helps, don't be ashamed of it.
