The Mayor of Cologne said today that women should adopt a “code of conduct” to prevent future assault at a crisis meeting following the sexual attack of women by 1000 men on New Year’s eve.

Mayor Henriette Reker attended an emergency meeting with Chief of Police Wolfgang Albers and Wolfgang Wurm to discuss how to deal with the attack, where dozens of women were repeatedly touched and groped, with one case of alleged rape in the center of town.

It wasn't 1000 men. It was maybe 40 with 1000 suspects (ie people in the area).

it's pretty "rich" coming from her, because she got almost assassinated in a knive attack before she got elected. if physical assault can't be entirely prevented with a code of conduct, then the same goes for sexual assult.

btw, the attackers were mainly out to rob people while groping them, although I don't doubt that rape happened. men were attacked as well.

Wasn't she attacked by anti-refugee people because she was pro refugees? And now she is blaming the women for being assaulted by people who probably aren't refugees but have the same ethnicity as most of them? Sounds a bit likes she's clumsily covering her bases so nobody can say "see, now you probably wish you'd been against refugees considering what they did!".

Almost as frustrating as having most of the mainstream media desperately ignore the reality of importing millions of desert savages who still believe in one of the most homophobic and misogynistic religions active, the vast majority of who are illiterate young men and expecting everything to be peachy keen.

Roughly 1000 men were present in the area at the time of the assaults. Stop reposting this everywhere as "1000 men committed assaults."
