On the one hand, it's a rude comment about your looks. I'm guessing that you didn't have a friendship that had a lot of banter and tongue-in-cheek commentary? Because that might make a difference around intent.

But, on the other hand, I don't think it is way out there for someone to use appearances when thinking of what a lovechild would look like. Those personality traits you mention aren't what people think of when describing a lovechild. At least, I think most people think, this child looks like a fusion of these two people.

If said you think of yourself as being like Hermione or Luna, then people would probably focus on the personality traits. If you say you're like their lovechild, I don't think it's surprising that they focus on the physical traits.
