i'm talking about what we are defining as 'inserting yourself'

i would call 'imagining having sex with this girl as myself, bob, the 40 year old man' inserting yourself

i wouldn't call 'i imagine that ass is my ass' inserting yourself, or else everyone who faps to character/character slash imagining 'character's ass is my ass' is 'inserting themselves' which they're not

when you're imagining yourself as a male character, are you 'you'? does it 'involve yourself'? idk i would say 'no' to that.

if a girl can read sam/dean and imaging being sam, why couldn't a man do the same, the only difference being your equipment matches up? it's strange to declare this a 'female thing' is all
