Umm, what? The dude from the secret was saying OP is not good-looking enough to be the 'lovechild' of those two characters/actresses.

"No offence, but their child would be gorgeous - and you aren't." The last bit is unsaid, but it's indicated to be there by the whole "no offence" bullshit at the start.

That's not what the person said, though, is it? They said OP wasn't like Luna and Hermione's lovechild because that child would be gorgeous (and, presumably, they thought OP wasn't). They didn't say that OP's kid would be attractive; they said OP *wasn't*.

@OP: that person sounds like a douche, and the fact that you took more offense at their focus on appearance than at their dig at you indicates that you're a lot more mature than I am (or at least a lot less insecure) :P

Holy reading comprehension, Batman! Look at the secret and reread it again, carefully this time. OP wasn't told their children would be gorgeous. OP joking referred to themselves as the lovechild of Hermione and Luna and was dismissed by the guy basically saying "Nah, because the lovechild of Hermione and Luna would be gorgeous [and you're not"]". That's what the "no offense" means.

That's why people are calling him a jackass. He straight up negged OP to their face and you missed it, then mocked other people based on your own misunderstanding.

But you are missing that OP opened with "I'm so very pretty, thihiii!" (in other words, but to that effect. Blech!). I think they guy was much less snarky than he could have been.
