Re: I love reddit and 4chan
(Anonymous) 2016-01-07 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)I'm starting to get the impression you people all keep going back to the subs everyone knows are shitty and then are shocked and angry that they're shitty.
Re: I love reddit and 4chan
(Anonymous) 2016-01-07 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)So, I don't have anything against Reddit and I don't go there (so have no bad experiences or anything), but as an outsider, to me it *does* seem a sign of being very unwelcoming if a topic as innocuous and humor-based as Advice Animals somehow managed to attract a loathesome crowd. Like, it seems to me that this example is still something that supports AYRT's point that the atmosphere is hostile. I don't want to walk into a reddit discussing Final Fantasy or exercise or film-making tips or whatever and be unpleasantly greeted with misogynists. That WOULD be an atmosphere problem.
