You...do realize that men's rights activists are devoted to things like visibility of male abuse victims (and that they should be taken seriously) and disproportionately high suicide and homeless rates, right? MRA doesn't mean what you think it does.

I realize that they claim to be positive activists whenever it's convenient for them, yes. There are plenty of men who actually care about those things who only find themselves disgusted by self-proclaimed MRAs.

I'm one of 'em right here. I spent years advocating for men's issues from a feminist perspective. Gotta say, the support I got from other feminists for this? Pretty piss-poor. MRAs are misogynist troglodytes, I expected nothing but abuse from them and got it. Feminists, though, I was disappointed.

Meanwhile when women feel mistreated by and excluded from their own movement, which happens very often, it's not as simple as choosing to back out. Maybe you were more concerned with getting their support than supporting them?

Yes it does.

Then why do all their forums revolve around getting irrationally angry at women and feminists?

Some of them surely do care about that shit, but they're too busy whining about how women have it sooooooo much better than them for anything to ever come of their "efforts."
