Maybe they have a problem with rehashed plotlines? With villains that lack menace? With forced nostalgia-bait? With weird pacing?

No, no, they have to see the entire world through the same narrow lens you do, where a character's genitalia are the only important aspect of fiction.

Not-OP

I am a feminist and I found the movie boring as hell. Rey was an awesome Luke, don't get me wrong. It was just booooring because I knew exactly what was going to happen next.

The daddy issues and inexplicably emo Kylo Ren did not help. What was his problem? I really didn't care. Whereas at least Darth Vader had James Earl Jones for gravitas. Somehow he didn't seem emo when he made a fist and choked the life out of people.
