I want to watch that alternate TFA you watched where Rey didn't fly the Falcon (and did a pretty good job!), wasn't in good terms with Chewbacca, wasn't hugged by Leia for no reason and wasn't able to mind trick a stormtrooper. Sounds better than the copy I watched.

She left a mark on Han. And considering that Han seemed to know who she was, and he may have said as much to Leia, but again, off screen, like it was with Maz Kanata...yeah, no. She didn't hug Rey for "no reason." And Chewie was kind of all over the place and probably wanted to be alone.

An ace pilot. Runs in the family/amongst those who are force sensitive.

She did the mind trick out of a desperate situation, not to mention Kylo was trying to do the same to her (and she's smart. she probably got an idea as to do it from that alone), and she did it out of sheer force of will after her first two attempts failed. Not that big of a stretch. Try try again, as the saying goes.

Chewie can choose who ever the hell he wants to be on "good terms with." I seem to recall him taking to Luke fairly quickly, too. Oh, and Leia, even after she made the "walking carpet" comment.

All I'm getting from your comments, nonny, is that you hate her. For being and doing all of the things that Luke did. The only difference, is that she is a woman.

Uh, there were plenty of cut away that dealt with Rey and her back ground. You obviously blinked about 10 times and missed it cause they were there.
