I have a soft, snoozing kitty on my lap. You would think that's a strange thing to complain about, but I can't move without waking him up (and he's adorable when he's snoozing) and my legs are cramping up.

Heh, been there, too. In my case my cat usually rests her chin on my hand/arm at some point and then said hand/arm eventually falls asleep.

Micheletto does that too. He also gives kitty hugs where he'll stretch out his front leg and rest his paw across my stomach.

I love this little furball so, so much.

Awwwwwww :). That's cute. Ours will stretch her front paw up over our shoulder in an attempt to give us a kitty hug.

He sounds very loveable. I like it when cats get all cuddly and nuzzly, it's so adorable.

Micheletto is a very cuddly cat. He curls up next to me at night. ^.^

I am familiar with this predicament.

...although it has now expanded to include "sleeping child."

Kinda glad I'm not in your shoes. The cat got up to stretch and eat, which allowed me to stretch and change my position. Dunno if I can count on a kid for that.

Well...he kind of eventually wakes to stretch and eat too, haha. The meaning of "eat" is just slightly different.

The good thing about having a cat is that he can go to his bowl and feed himself. No need for me to get up unless he starts meowing about an empty supper dish. Can't say that about a kid.

I have every sympathy. Not only does William do the same thing, he also likes to knead my chest when he's awake. And for a little cat he has a lot of upper-body strength; it feels like getting a mammogram.
