I'm fine with f/m smut, though I must say I'm far more pickier about what I like to read in het than in slash, both in terms of pairings as in how the actual sex is written. I'd say I skew towards femdom in m/f pairings. It's not a necessity, but it's a decent indicator I won't be bothered by the sex.

For me, I think it's just I have a partner in RL and I would have difficulties separating fiction from reality with m/f (or f/m) smut and so don't try. It's funny though, because I love non-smutty romances of all sorts, but for porn porn porn m/m is the only way I'll go, hahahaha.

Fair enough! I think the trick for me is to identify enough with one of he characters at least (but not TOO much, either).
