Most fiction with good characterization, I'd presume.

Oh, don't bother. Nobody likes you enough to chime in agreeing, and nobody cares about you enough to give you an argument, so you'll just have to reply to your own thread yet again, despite that little twinge you feel every time you do it, that little vibration inside that tells you your life just got a little sadder.

NAYRT

Wow this was an over reaction.

S'ok, joking anon. Not all men are overbearing, possessive, and dominance obsessed, but I still loled at your joke a little. :)

Not sure what you mean by 'men who act like men'.

The first things I see on my bookshelf of male main characters written by female authors are the Chronicles of Crestomancy by Dianna Wynne Jones and the Vampire Files series by P.N. Elrod.

Most of it.

If what you're actually looking for is fiction about men written by women where the men act like male power fantasies, there's still quite a bit.

I'm guessing they mean men who aren't super obsessed stalkers who spend every waking moment waxing poetic/romantic and mooning over their lady love they probably just met a day ago. Which, really, that's not every book out there. That's mostly a problem with the urban fantasy/supernatural lit stuff.
