Dang! I hope there's no lasting nerve damage with the hair tourniquet. Those can indeed be quite serious.

So far, so good re: nerve damage. Everything looks good and has been responding well, and at some point between when we checked into the ER and when he was seen, the hair unraveled itself, so they didn't have to cut into his toe. I guess we'll see. I'm super paranoid about hair being on him now, though (I SHOULD SHAVE MY HEAD THIS WOULD NOT BE AN OVERREACTION RIGHT).
And yessss puppyhammer is amazeballs! Fucking hard as shit but so, so cool when it's done well.

Eh don't shave your head, it was a freak accident. These things happen. You were vigilant enough to catch it, so you haven't failed as a mom lol.
I don't think I'm coordinated enough for the flaily flails but I always admire when other people can do it.
