(Anonymous) 2016-01-09 05:29 am (UTC)(link)IMO boxed cake mixes have gotten *too* moist, to the point where they're just mush and the cake falls apart. I like some of the boutique cupcake places because I like that the cake has a bit more texture to it. Some call it dry, I like pastries to be dense and chewy, not soft and crumbly.
