That's probably because either a.) they are like this on tumblr or b.) they think the answer to anyone criticizing anything on the internet is "just don't look at it OMG. You're wasting your life"

It's kinda like the fanfic authors who accused anyone of giving them criticism of being a "flamer who needs to get a life".
