If you do give spartacus a try, remember the first few episodes are the worst, and the creator of the show fully admits that. He said they got a little to trigger happy with the "we're on Starz, we can have all the nudity and violence"! It's still violent and has plenty of nudity after those episodes, but it's not as over the top.

I watched the first and second season. One day I'll get around to watching the rest.

The first few episodes were trying really hard to be 300. It was almost adorable.

So, by second season, do you mean "Gods of the Arena" or "War of the Damned"? (these different titles for different seasons always threw me off)

'Gods of the Arena' I think I watched an episode or two of 'WotD' but I can't quite recall now. It's been years.

I'm wondering if this is a repost, or just a similar secret with a picture of the same actor.

Anyway, Pana is indeed hot, but him having kids doesn't particularly bother me. I don't want kids and although I don't like hearing about kids in great detail, I wouldn't say I have a problem with them in general. I also don't imagine myself with actors. (It feels too 'fake'.)

I did follow Pana on twitter for a time, but that was long ago. (Pretty sure I stopped because he did discuss his wife and kid quite a lot, and that was the majority of his posts. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, I'm just not that interested in his family.)

I used to have this problem big time too. Maybe I still do, to a lesser degree.

But then I used to have a problem with people my age having kids. I would always feel inadequate, like I was a lesser person or immature because I wasn't in the same boat and had no interest in having children. It didn't help that this idea was drilled into my head as a child, that you don't know shit about the world until you have children, and you don't know what love is at all. (The weird thing was, the person who drilled it in my head the most was someone who abused children.)

I don't have a problem with celebrities having kids because well, it's something that you can't prevent or anything like that. It's going to happen whether you like it or not.

But my OTP's having kids? That's where I draw the line. I know some people love to read fic where people become parents, but that's something that I just don't enjoy. :/
