Aw, brown eyes are the best, OP. My dad, my sister and brother have really beautiful, almost black brown eyes. They're the warmest color, in my opinion.

I never actually noticed, but it's lovely that pretty much all of the main characters have brown eyes (as pointed out, including Leia. Kylo Ren also has lovely brown eyes :))

Haven't watched this movie, but I know what you mean about the whole brown eyes thing. I used to hate my brown eyes for the same reason until I found a character I love who also has brown eyes and finally got a grip on myself about it.

I didn't even notice that...and now that I do, i'm smiling.

I was just saying in a conversation yesterday that John Boyega has a great example of nice eyes that aren't light/are more about the softness than the color.

You know, I didn't notice that all of the mains had brown eyes. Huh. Now that you mention it...yea, that IS pretty cool! (And Boyega and Ridley both have gorgeous eyes. Isaac does too, I'm sure.)

It's true that a lot of protagonists these days have lighter eye colors. (For example, so many people in the MCU have blue eyes. I happen to love the color blue in general, and find it very striking, but variety is always nice. Plus, you should be pleased with your brown eyes! Brown eyes can be just as attractive as any other color.)

I used to hate my darker hair as a kid. I used to watch this cartoon (I think it was Lady Lovelylocks?) where the main character was a beautiful princess, with blonde hair and blue eyes, and her enemy had black hair.

Guess who always had to be the evil witch in our imaginary games? :/

ahaha lady lovelylocks bothered the shit out of me too for that exact reason. like, she was mainly evil because she envied lady's hair!

OP, bless you. I was about to make this same secret. I hate my brown eyes because the only other person in my family who has them besides me was my abusive father who tried to kill me and then my daughter was born with brown eyes and I hated that our brown eyes reminded me of my dad, but when I see awesome characters with brown eyes it makes me happy and makes having brown eyes less painful in my mind.

Add me to the list of people who love brown eyes. It sounds cliché, but they've got that warm, inviting quality to them, and I like that :).

Having brown eyes is awesome. Mine are a brightish brown, like warm chocolate. I have always loved them.

"Chocolate" is how my mother always described my eyes. I think she thought I might feel bad about being the only brown-eyed one in the immediate family. In actuality, I thought of my parents and brother as being the abberations. (Don't tell them that.)

I have the same eyes and I wanted to feel good about myself, so I started thinking what adjective/color name I could use that would make me feel good about the color.

..."Swamp." No.
..."Mud." No.

..."Camouflage?" Hey, we're getting somewhere.
