I have no problem with silly humor, childish humor, ribald humor, impish humor, or really anything other than mocking, mean-spirited humor, and I'm getting increasingly sick of the condescension from people who do have a problem with those things. I'm sure you're so amazingly mature that you can only enjoy the most serious of shows, but can you please stop treating your personal tastes as objective facts? And for that matter, why is it so unbelievable that a show could have a childish or ribald humor and also have serious social commentary or philosophy?

P.S. If you're going to rant about how sexist Chobits is, at least watch more than one episode. There's a reason for all the stuff about treating people like objects and objects like people!

It's a good series; it was my fav CLAMP title, until I discovered xxxHolic.
