Why is it so nopey for you, if I can ask? I don't particularly ship it, but I wouldn't see the ship as being particularly wrong (especially as this is the fandom that ships SkyWard)

Let's see...

-Adorable siblings like woman/man platonic friendship turned into another unnecesary het drama
-Simmons said that she didn't love Fitz, Fitz sacrifices himself for her and now she's in love with him. Sounds like she's his reward for being a heroic, good man.Because the good man always deserves the chick, even if the chick isn't in love with him.
-Story told mostly from Fitz' point of view when the one I'm interested in is Simmons and how her feelings changed.
-Plot tumor. I loved Mack and his friendship with Fitz in S2, and now it's gone because Fitz, Simmons and their drama need the screentime.
-Terrible love triangle with Astronaut guy that in the end didn't matter because Astronaut guy is dead and now Simmons doesn't have to choose

Yeah I agree with all of this. I LOVED their friendship -- except whenever Fitz took to staring lustily in Simmons's direction. I never ever got the feeling that it was more than a friendship to her. I actually really liked the romantic thing with the astronaut, and was really hoping it would lead away from Fitz/Simmons. But nope, all of a sudden, she's in love with him! Ick.

Also, they dropped his burgeoning friendship with Mack (which I loved) and totally forgotten his injuries, which added a lot of interesting struggle to his character.
