I like horror podcasts so I thought I'd like Pseudopod. But the host's pseudo-intellectual, self-important drivel and a lot of the narrators made me drop it pretty quickly.

Spartacus is the big example for me. Lots of naked men? Yes please. Except I could make it past 2 episodes. The only thing I did like was the naked men, and I can get that from porn.

Sherlock. Game of Thrones. Vikings.

+1 for Sherlock.

Black Sails, though maybe I should've given it another shot... (Only watched around three episodes.)

Avengers: Age of Ultron. Didn't hate it, but don't have any real urge to watch it again either.

...I feel like I should add Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain as well, even though I quit after the prologue so that feels unfair to the game. The thing is, I figured out the 'twist' from the opening cutscenes/gameplay sections and it was not at all what I wanted from the game and I felt it cheapened a lot of what came after, so I was too bitter to play anymore. I regret buying it. (Though I did buy it with a gift card, so...that's something, I guess.)

I've tried to watch the series "Legends" with Sean Bean twice now--first time only made it through 3 eps, second time I got to ep 6 or 7. While I want to know what's up with him and all...it just doesn't capture me enough to watch and find out. (I'm sure, it being Sean Bean, he'll die eventually....lol)

Lord of the Rings. Only good thing was the Nazgûl.

Captain America: Winter Soldier. People talk it up like it's wall-to-wall tragedy and character development but for the most part, it's a blow-'em-up action flick.

looooool This. I actually thought I would hate it because of the fandom interpretation. Turns out it's really just a decent action movie that fangirls are inserting too much headcanon into.

Honestly, I was relieved it wasn't what fandom made it out to be. I expected so much wangst about Bucky, but it wasn't that bad at all. I actually liked it more than I thought I would.

Mary Poppins.

Just a little too long and aimless for me.

Steven Universe. It's not terrible, but it's not God's Gift to Animated Television the way people make it out to be. I feel like the only reason people have really latched onto it is that it's one of the very few shows with genuinely good female/PoC/LGBT+ representation, and that if other kids shows had the same level of diversity that SU does it wouldn't get nearly the amount of praise and hype.

The Avengers. I liked all the lead-up movies and I was so excited, but it left me cold. And I was a friend's ride home so I had to sit through the whole thing.

Same, anon--everyone acted like that movie was the best thing they'd ever seen, and when I finally saw it I was just bored. And I like all the lead-up movies too (absolutely LOVE some of them, in fact!).

Xena, Pretty Little Liars, Warehouse 13, etc. Basically anything I got lured into for the femslash and was left disappointed.

Helix. What a godawful piece of crap.

Also, The Walking Dead. Sorry, but season 2 killed it for me. I just couldn't go on after so much NOTHING HAPPENS.

Fortysomething. Naked Hugh Laurie? Yes please. Turned out to be totally unfunny and irritating, naked Hugh was the only good part.

Lots of musical acts. Like, there will be one good single, and then the rest of the album is either completely different or inferior versions of the single, but in any case boring.
