I'd suggest looking at the museum websites and then planning which exhibits you want to do then. You won't be able to do everything in a day for most of them, but you can pick the ones that look most interesting.

I think early in the vacation for the Holocaust Museum is fine. I just had originally planned on doing that and something else the same day, but I had to go back to my apartment because it took a lot out of me. It is really emotionally draining.

Also, don't eat in the museums if you can avoid it because you will spend a lot on food there. Some of them have fast food things outside, and there are usually food trucks around.

Yeah, thanks for that site to food trucks! I expect that will come in handy.

The summer I worked there, there was a spot just down the street from my job where a bunch of them would go. I spent so much money on food truck food. It was bad. I particularly recommend the pho trucks and the pie truck.

There was also a crape place just down the street. I was kind of struggling for money for a few months after that because of how much I spent on food.

Oh, one more piece of advice. If you are doing public transportation (and I'd say do because parking is a pain), plan when you are taking it as much as possible. There is no set price. You pay based on how far you travel as well as the time of day. It costs more at peak times.

Yeah, I was estimating costs when I noticed that the museum had closed. >.< So now I gotta wait to do it again when we rearrange our schedule.

Crime Museum. Some privately owned thing that we were going to squeeze in on a day when we were nearby.
