In my personal experience, there are two kinds of RPF fans: The quiet ones who just want to write fic, who are so quiet you will never actually see them, and the batshit insane ones who publically harass their OTP and insist that their significant others are beards. Even if they have been together for years and now have children together.

J2 is definitely one of the ones I had in mind. I once stumbled upon people insisting the wives had pressured them into having babies, and other people who suspected J2 used them as surrogates so they could raise the babies together in secret.
