(Anonymous) 2016-01-12 02:05 am (UTC)(link)The doujinshi I have (go read the comment I left for wannabe_influential if you're curious about some of them) tend to be more "ambiguous crotch that is able to be penetrated", but anything that doesn't bolt-on a random robo-dick or insinuate Genos just has a random fully functional butthole is something that makes me happy. (They get extra points if they show/explain how Genos came by his new parts.) There's this one dj I own, it's an amazingly drawn dj, but Genos' random robo-penis just ruins it, it's so...conspicuous. The fact that it doesn't even look as if he could retract that part into himself for like protection or some shit just made it all the worse. It's still a good DJ though, with a ton of really hot sex, so I'm conflicted. <___< Haha, speaking of "unconventional ways" at one point in the dj "virgin cyborg" Saitama rubs his cock all over Genos' power core. *Snort* I had a good laugh, but I have to admit the doujinka drew it pretty hot. But yeah, generally I like when people at least try and get semi-creative with the genitals, if they aren't going to go for Genos having a completely non-human pleasure system. My absolute favourite smut I've read for this fandom so far is where Genos has a fleshy gel pad of some sort that is loaded with sensors, and later has a channel installed beneath that. The effect is human enough, but still different enough, for me at least! :)

Bruuuuuuuh, I know I've read a fic with this concept and it worked so well for me(I'm actually trying to find it again because I wanted to re-read it). Ambiguous genitalia works for me too, I'm not overly picky tbh but from a practicality PoV him not having a retractable/detachable dick doesn't make much sense.
Also the doujin's you mentioned in W_I's comment, daaaaaaaammn.

But yeah, I think part of the reason I'm so into the whole "internal ambiguous genitals" for Genos is because that's one of the more realistic interpretations. The whole robo-dick thing can be done decently but I feel like it's probably more realistic for Genos to just have something tucked away.

...Yeeeahhh I paid a lot for this dj but to be honest I'd do it again. I've got an eye out for the other dj by this doujinka too. :O

Welp that sounds right up my alley too, and if the rest of it plays out like that, yessssssssssss. I like what I can see of the art too, which is always a bonus.
I've never gotten into the DJ buying thing but they do look very nice and I can understand the temptation completely.

Holy shit you haven't read the second one? The longer one? It's sooooo good, seriously, like it's just an all around awesome fic in addition to having hot sexytimes. This author handles it a little differently than the first author, but it's equally amazing. It could use a beta reader and there are some typos and stuff, but it's so good.

Exactly! I'm cool with robo-dick sometimes, don't get me wrong, I'm not too picky, but honestly for more realism I definitely see something more along the lines of an internal system of some sort. The groin shots are real!

This particular artist has a sketchy, cutesy sort of style that might not be to everyone's taste but I rather enjoy it. The other DJs I have with Saitama topping are definitely more along the lines of staying closer to canon though. The ones in particular done by the same circle that did "virgin cyborg" (the one I mentioned in the first comment to W_I) have a really great style to them.
I've never gotten into the DJ buying thing but they do look very nice and I can understand the temptation completely.
It becomes an addiction. I'm planning on learning Japanese pretty solely so that I don't need to pay people to translate my doujinshi anymore lol.
