Culture, whatever, I get not wanting to date an immigrant even though I think it's a bit lame, but it's certainly "easier" to date someone within your culture. However, if by culture you actually mean race, then yes, that is racist and will never not be racist.

Nah, when I say culture I mean culture. Culture can be linked to race, but isn't necessarily.

Though tbh I was originally going to say "I think it's okay to want to date within your culture or ethnicity". I dropped the ethnicity part because I know a lot of people don't understand that there's a difference between race and ethnicity, and I didn't want to start racewank.

(For everyone's information: the words "race" and "ethnicity" do NOT mean the same thing, even though they're often used interchangeably by people who don't know any better. People of different races can and do share ethnic and cultural backgrounds.)
