Yep. Same with "sweetie" on Tumblr, "honey" in real life, "ladies" and occasionally "dear" from mens-rightsy types.

I definitely tend to care less about someone's opinion if they stuck an endearment being used in a condescending way onto it.

Wait did you just drag your issues with the men's rights movement into an unrelated discussion? AND manage to ignore that the movement is about serious, real issues such as male abuse victims?
