Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. That's what I've noticed about this industry. Everyone working for digital, like Crunchy or whatever, gets totally shit pay and you work 60 hour+ weeks.

I'd probably hate it less if I had more time off to watch good anime. But I just work all the time. After almost 3 years, I'm hitting burnout point. I don't want to live like this anymore.

I'm watching Shirobako right now, and I can't stop thinking "how can all these people be so passionate about making some shit moe anime?? Why don't they get frustrated about the hours and the pay and bail??" I know animators in Japan get paid even less than I do.
