If you're floored by that try reading the Animaniacs wiki page sometime.

I knew I liked that show as a kid, but as an adult the reasons are so clear: that show had one of the best writing and production teams of any children's cartoon of all time.

I was in my 20s when it started, and even as an adult it was one of my favourites.

I still sing the Chicken Boo theme to my cats.

I feel the same, especially as the character did so much singing (and parodies of good broadway too). She was one of my favorite characters on that show.

I feel similar when I think of Tim Curry on Gargoyles or David McCallum on Ben 10. There are a surprising number of really talented people behind kids animated stuff.

I was a kid when Animaniacs aired, and my mom is a huge Broadway nut. So even I recognized Bernadette's voice, but my mom was freaking out the first time we heard her.

Brian Stokes Mitchell is one of the voices in the epic West Side Pigeons, too. I freaking love Animaniacs.

She has a great voice but these were not my favorite sequences on Animaniacs. I didn't think the songs were very good and the sequences were not funny.

I was an adult when Animaniacs came out. Runt and Rita was my favorite segment, hands-down. I suspect it was written with more mature viewers in mind.

I remember one episode of theirs, Smitten for Kittens, was all about how hard it was to be a parent. I still sing that song in my head all the time, it was so wonderful and sad and perfect.
