I look at FS, people are wanking all over the place, and I wonder how much longer til he gets sick of it. Doesn't mean that's all I do with my life. I don't think about it, say, while driving to work.

I'm constantly amazed and impressed by case. Could anyone else do what he does? I've been here for probably four years and I don't think he's missed a single day, and 99% of the time it's right on time being posted, too. not only that, I've never seen him give in to drama. Seriously, case is a model business manager.

But I also occasionally wonder how long he'll gift us with F!S. This comm has been part of my daily schedule for literally years, it'll be so weird when he moves on.

Same. The fact that case has only missed a few posts in a number of years is amazing. I don't know how he always gets the posts up on time and then spends his free time on modding the comm. It's some serious dedication, and it's appreciated. (Especially since, like OP said, there are rough periods, lol. He's always dealt with it well and doesn't allow people to rile him up.)

Case is a seriously cool-headed person. I think I've only ever seen him genuinely upset maybe a couple times, and it was always one of those "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed" type deals.

Now I want fanart of wooper!dad!case saying "I'm not mad I'm just disappointed" to a chagrined and embarrassed version of that yelling blue-haired red-eyed guy in the Fandom!Secrets banner.

i posit case was/is a troll who learned the whole art then got bored at the lack of challenge. once you've hit the cap of a skill, the only fresh challenges come from the outside. so he decided to play defense instead and invite people to troll him. none have succeeded because he knows exactly what they're trying to get and stop them from getting it. case patiently deals with the mediocre while waiting for The One.

I like this theory. I find the people who have the highest tolerance for trolls are usually part-time/recovering trolls themselves.
