It has a much bigger anti-fandom than most small comics. I find it pretty bizarre myself, that people spend so much time going over the art and the storyline when they dislike it and the creator so much. I can get when something's so bad it's funny, but I don't really see that for this series.

Yep. Most small comics posted on here, either people are fans of it already or they've never heard of it. Not the case with PK's comic.

Because you're not bringing anything new to the table and pk is a terrible person.

First or one secrets get you interested in it, but after that nobody really cares or you annoy people by talking about the same thing over and over again.

This secret isn't even about the comic as much as f!s' reaction to your constant shilling of this comic. You'd think you'd take the hint and shut up about it.

I mean this is fandomsecrets which is for general fandom related stuff? Why can't someone post secrets about a thing they enjoy?

By that logic why should anything related to Ender's Game be allowed to be discussed here because Orson Scott Card has been pretty terrible?

Just saying "This is not the place to post secrets about this" seems like pretty weak rationale.

I mean they can, but I don't think the responds will be much different from the ones they're currently getting, so I don't really get why they're so insistent on making secrets about floraverse when it's mostly "hi pk" and "pk sucks" and maybe one person asking about the comic who is promptly told pk sucks.

As far as I can tell there's been barely any comments about the comic or world, it's almost all about the author.

Well maybe if all someone is going to say is "PK sucks" they should refrain from commenting.

When someone mentions liking an artist do you tell them they suck and give a laundry list of everything wrong the author has ever said?

No, not especially, but if you check the previous secrets that's what the comments have mostly been, so I'm just confused why OP has been making so many floraverse secrets.

Can someone fill me in on why this author (PK?) is so hated? I don't really know much about them beyond the fact that the porn they draw seems...really creepily exploitative of LGBT (emphasis on the T) people. There are a ton of boys with vaginas and girls with penises, so much so that it seems like it's creeping into fetish territory.

Obviously biased so form your own opinions yada yada, but here's a rundown of PK controversies. Biggest one being that her husband has been accused of sexually harassing minors at least twice.

And? She fucked over one of my friends who is the nicest, sweetest person over because she gave a tiny crit about one thing something she showed her while my friend was visiting her. PK threw a fucking fit and hid in her room the whole time during my friend's visit and she had to deal with Marl fucking bragging about all the pussy he gets (prolly because PK cucking him and living with the guy PK cheated on him with makes him feel emasculated or something) and my friend is very uncomfortable about the topic of sex and is probably asexual.

PK steals characters from her ex-friends and she's very clearly gotten lazy with her comics because she overworks herself instead of pacing herself and improving because she only wants asspats. Nevermind the mess that was Orobas and Amdusias's first time having sex that came off as rape.

I wonder why as well. Giving fans a hard time because a creator is a dickbag is generally a pretty immature thing to do. I would think most of us have grown out of it; it's usually teenagers I see getting angry at people for liking problematic things or being fans of the works of creators who have done problematic things.

Welp, there's plenty of info out there about how shitty a person PK is, and if someone is too stupid to take the hint (more like a slap in the face really) that talk about PK isn't welcome, I'm not bound to be friendly with them.

And I wasn't taking my anger out on OP (bless them), I just really hate PK for doing what she did to her friends and then being a big fat hypocrite about it.
