They only live like a year or so, so don't feel too bad. They were gonna get there soon enough.

(If they lived longer they'd probably overthrow us.)

I've only had it twice. I couldn't resist having an actual tentacle sandwich once though.

Is it anything like squid? I've never had octopus but I love calamari.

I'd feel bad about eating it for the same reason though. I love octopuses.

It is similar but better. And it works well raw, which I'm not sure squid does.

Octopus is amazing. One of my favorite things in the entire world is this octopus salad they do in eastern Europe with cucumber and tomato and a oil and vinegar dressing. Amazing. I wish I could get octopus more often in the US. I like squid a lot as well, but octopus is better.

I have to ask what kangaroo tastes like

Not that strangely, actually. It's a red meat, so it's a bit like steak, but obviously not exactly the same as veal. I find the taste less pronounced than lamb or pork, though.

That's so cool, thank you!

Of the ones you named, which did taste the strangest?

Crocodile. It's like an unholy union or chicken and fish, but sort of chewy, and harder than either chicken or fish.

That....sounds like it would either be delicious or disgusting (for me). How'd you come to eat it?

There was this supermarket that did this action of having food from around the world (different stuff from different places each month). I saw the croc and couldn't resist. I might have made it wrong, though (apparently it's best if you stew if for a long time).
