Have you looked in to teaching English in either Korea, Japan, or China? I know friends who have done all of those countries, some with great success and others who were completely miserable. Look into it and do your research before agreeing to anything.

They probably meant "Internet freedom". They're not kidding, I was just over there for NY and you couldn't do anything, so many sites are blocked. Otoh, I hear you can download an app or software to circumvent this.
