Re: Sharing a bed

(Anonymous) 2016-01-17 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
My first shared bed with my SO, which he had had for something on 20 years, worked mostly ok except occasionally, I just wanted to sleep on the couch alone. The biggest plus was body heat and holding each other while falling asleep; those are both calming for the two of us. But if either of us wanted to move much, it could wake the other up or we'd wake up with stiff joints (though snoring/farting in our sleep was never a big bother).

Once we got a nicer, bigger bed where one or both of us can spread out or move over if we need to and movement on one side doesn't really affect the other, it's led to much better sleep. Though sometimes I'll still just crash on the couch, no huge reason.
