Re: Sharing a bed

Not everyone feels this way (as this thread shows), but for most couples sleeping in the same bed is:
1. Comforting (because humans are evolutionarily social animals)
2. Warm
3. Convenient
4. Allows for easy cuddling (just as important as sex for many people, as well as something that can be basically addictive because it makes the brain release the same chemical it releases after orgasm)

As a long term singleton before I met my current boyfriend, I can say that I worried about sleeping in the same bed being hard to get used to. But I actually loved it, and after about a month felt weird when I wasn't sleeping next to him. If you can get in a comfortable position for both of you, being spooned to sleep is very relaxing.
