I'm just tired of people shoving it at me and telling me I'm a bad ally/traitor to the LGBT cause if I don't like it.
It's just not my kind of music and I think the colours in the video are an eyesore.

I agree with you. It's basically a 'friendzone' song, with a very creepy factor, but because it's about lesbians nobody seems to mind. I can ignore that and enjoy it anyways, but yeah

To be fair its not the friend-zoning part that makes it creepy and dangerous when guy do it, it's the aggrieved male entitlement and following violent outburst, plus the cultural normalizing of killing and raping women that makes the friend-zone rhetoric creepy.

I didn't take the stealing your stuff or pillow case part literally.

I felt like it more like when you have a good friend who leaves their stuff and your place and it just sort reminds you of them so you treasure it.

Not that you're wrong to take it literally, just different interpretations and all. I've always just take music pretty metaphorically and based on the emotions it portrays. I just think it gets the pining for your best friend feeling pretty spot on.
