Man, I tried watching The Flash because I love both actors since Prison Break, but the CW style of shows is just not for me.

Yeah same. There's just something forced or fake about the characters in The Flash that just doesn't work for me. I don't really know why I can't get into it, whereas I quite enjoy Agents Of SHIELD for the most part, which is generally considered not a good show.

Most CW shows have a very distinct aesthetic that I am not a fan of.

My main problem is that the show expects us to treat it less seriously because the characters have powers, but it really doesn't seem to be any less full of death than Arrow, except that that show expects us to feel upset when people die, while the Flash expects us to ignore it so we can laugh at Cisco making up nicknames for the bad guys. It makes the characters look super-callous. I just wanna scream "c'mon, people just died here, maybe it's not the best time for you to be giving them cutesy names." I don't need doom and gloom all the time, but some acknowledgement that it's not happy fun time would improve the show a lot.

I'm only watching it until I get to Legends of Tomorrow

Yeah. I love the show for the pretty, but they do treat all the dark or fucked up things a bit too lightly.

Your loss. The Flash is one of the best Genre shows on Television right now.

Your opinion is valid! I do not agree. :)

It's really not. The whole Eobard/time travel plot was a hot mess, and Barry/Iris is a huge squick for a lot of viewers, ime. Jessica Jones is a better superhero show.

The entire Barry/Iris debacle was absolutely ridiculous.
