With Buffy, I hate the Zeppo which is often ranked high. And I think Once More With Feeling is overrated. The music is pretty cool. But the general plot is really stupid. A singing demon?

I agree about the Zeppo episode, but then again, I just really dislike Xander, so I'm probably biased. :p

OMWF has a goofy plot, but so do a lot of musicals, and I think that's what Whedon & co were going for.

That's pretty much why I dislike Zeppo. I really hate Xander. By far my least favorite Buffy character.

I like OMWF for everything except the end. Especially as people actually died during the songfest. Way to go, Xander...

Oh, yes, that. The fact that it is played off as a joke bugs me. Xander got people killed. Not funny. I didn't think it was out of character, but someone should have called him on it. But everything was made to be a joke.

Yup. I hate that he kills people and it's not big - he totally should have been called on that. And then Faith does the same, and realizes she fucked up and goes voluntarily to prison (with every intention of staying there) and she continually gets shit for it.

I don't understand why people like Zeppo. It's awful, and made zero sense.

For one thing, since when did the Scoobies want to protect Xander? That came out of nowhere. It wasn't like he'd been hurt recently.

The rest of the plot just didn't make any sense whatsoever.
