Re: Underrated Episodes of TV Shows

It's a very awesome and pretty show, you should totally watch it! I like the most how subtle it can be, it never slap you in the face with life lesson will most likely make you think. The show is slow paced and have a very melancholy feel to it. Keep in mind though that it can be very horrifying, the episode with the eye mushi creeps me out so much and the one with the moss child really disgusts me. Some people says this anime can make you be terrified of nature and they are not wrong.

So I'm getting a very supernatural, monster of the week feel from it? I like creepy so that's not a problem, and I'm a big fan of subtlety in my animation.

Yeah the story revolves around mushi, creatures with etheral nature that humans can't see. A Mushishi is someone who deals with them, helping people who suffers conequences from interacting with them. The main character Ginko is a mushishi. Each episode is a different story about different people and varied kind of mushi. I can't say you will definitely like it, but it's worth checking out. I don't watch much anime much but this is one of my favorite.
