Hey guys,

Sorry, but we're going to disallow roleplaying on fandomsecrets from now on.

I know some of you enjoy it and that some of you roleplay as a response to secrets about your roleplay characters or pairings, but it causes a massive amount of scroll and pushes back actual comments from people back pages, making it harder for all the other secret posters to find responses and stuff (and with like 80 secrets to search through -- you see how this could be a problem).

fandomsecrets was meant to be an OOC community from the start: if one of you wants to start like, fandomsecretsrp or something, go right ahead, but that kind of stuff really doesn't belong here. It wasn't such a problem before (and all of us mods are also guilty of doing it once or twice, so don't think we're not in the same boat here), but it's gotten kind of bad lately, and we've had multiple complaints.

So, tl;dr version: keep it all OOC, please! Commenting with RP journals is fine if you're too lazy to log out or something, but yeah, OOC.

ETA: Okay, so since the idea came up: fsdressingroom to react to OOC secrets IC (as opposed to IC secrets IC, like ic_secrets). Use it!

ETA2: We're disallowing roleplay in comments, not roleplay secrets, don't worry!

Even blatantly OOC RP isn't allowed now, sorry. Complaints have happened and not everyone can tell if a character is IC or OOC since not everyone is a member of the fandoms.
