Re: Vent Thread

Can we just...talk about fandom things on fandom secrets? Why the fuck has it turned into this bullshit rape/feminism circle-jerk every. single. day.

(Anonymous) 2016-01-20 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
Then make the threads you want and ignore the ones you don't want to see.

I've tried man, but no one cares.

Don't respond to the baito.

Make...a....thread?

Re: Vent Thread

(Anonymous) 2016-01-20 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
I...did? Doesn't make me less sick of seeing the same rhetorical bullshit posted day after day on a fandom site.

Scroll?

If you aren't getting comments on your fandom related threads, that's people making the choice of what they want to discuss. Either try harder to start compelling fandom discussions or realize that people will talk about the topics they want to talk about, and there's only so much you can do about it.

Re: Vent Thread

(Anonymous) 2016-01-20 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
This is why making gender general threads is a good idea

and yet every time we do, people try to pretend like we don't have an inexhaustible appetite for talking about this

Re: Vent Thread

(Anonymous) 2016-01-20 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
it's rad!fem. If people would just actually ignore and not reply to those damn threads we wouldn't see them every single day. but alas, f!s users bite at the stalest bait.

Re: Vent Thread

(Anonymous) 2016-01-20 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
First, I really doubt that it is just one specific anon. It feels like at least two or three

Second, I don't feel like we can actually blame them unless and until we stop talking about it

Re: Vent Thread

(Anonymous) 2016-01-20 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
Why do you doubt that? I genuinely believe that it's one anon making all the same gender threads. Rad!fem is certainly easy enough to recognize.

And I do blame the users for biting. ffs all the gender topics are fucking stupid and dumb and we've talked about them a million times in the past month.

(Anonymous) 2016-01-20 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
I mean, you know. Just as one example, but how are you going to blame it solely on rad!fem when you have blitzwing gleefully taking any opportunity whatsoever to preach the gospel of feminism being evil? Users on here want to talk about it, so they're going to talk about it when the opportunity is presented. I agree that it's really dumb and frustrating but

Hey! I haven't criticized feminism today at all, despite someone making a very tempting thread about it.

Good, 'cuz some of us would like a break from you.

I'm glad at least one person appreciates the hard work I put in.

That would be you. The rest of us think you're awful and should delete yourself.

You're worse than Herpy, Dethtoll and Noodles combined.

Maybe users are replying to those threads because they want to talk about gender/feminism and not because they are stupid to recognize wank bait? Given the amount of responses to those threads, even if they were started by trolls (which, for the record, I don't think is always the case), I think it's safe to say that f!s users still want to talk about feminism and so on. You may not like it and be tired of it, but others in the community aren't. Just scroll past or hide the threads you don't like, anon.

"it's rad!fem."

i know. who the hell rad!fem if the person in question questioning the problems. guts for you rad!fem because every piss crap you make succeeded, even for troll. or maybe people blindly throw rad!fem accusation because.... the hell with it.

A lot of people here like talking about that stuff. Why should we stop just because you don't?

There are still plenty of fandom discussions to be had - particularly on the actual secret threads.

Complaining about the things you don't want to see is easier than actually creating the content you do want to see, but it's nowhere near as effective, nonny.
