PJ Harvey and Pat Barker

--OK, I would never say that PJ Harvey sucks now, but I'm reaaaallly not a fan of her last two albums, because I cannot deal with her upper-register "church voice." FFS, Polly Jean, you sound terrible, sing in your actual full register again, jesus.


--Pat Barker's Regeneration trilogy are some of my favorite books I've ever read, especially Regeneration itself, which was a life-changer for me. So I will love her till the day I die. But that said, every book she's written since then has been a massive disappointment, especially her most recent Life Class trilogy.

Fuck love triangles, man. They ruin everything.
