Also given the fact that it supposedly came from where anon says it did (a transpobic blogger claiming that trans people attacked them) it's kinda mindbogglingly counterproductive.

A person tried to claim that trans people are violent and will go around attacking cis people wearing shirts that say "down with cis", so let's just reply with "hey down with cis sounds like a good idea". That makes sooo much sense.

it's just...boring, and i've not seen anyone fall back on that joke who wasn't an awkward teen or someone who doesnt know how to ACTUALLY be funny in a way that is unique to themselves as a person. like memes are funny and all but people who actually use them as jokes in their lives are so extra
