Dude, that whole article is basically saying "you should enjoy media the way I want you to because I said so". Ugh. I hate that shit.

Could the knowledge that Walter is marked for death “ruin” Breaking Bad for someone? It could, but only if you value plot above everything else—to pretend otherwise is anti-criticism.

Some people DO value plot above everyone else and screw this author for implying that's not okay. Everyone has different things they like about media.

Seriously, the whole "spoilers don't matter because if you don't like spoilers you're doing media wrong" is so elitist.

And calling it a "culture" is pretty inane in my opinion.
