I didn't mind the up front part. It was the being rude to her when she clearly wasn't into him. If he couldn't handle being just friends with her, he should have just out and said it. And the kiss when he didn't know whether or not she returned his feelings made me uncomfortable. You don't just up and kiss people.

But guys who assume a girl who is just being nice is into him are creepy. I don't think they intend for him to be creepy, but he's coming across that way to me. He's coming across sort of like a "nice guy" though not quite to that level.

I guess I'll be fine if they leave it where it is. I just really don't want them together. Because putting them together would validate the whole nice guy thing. And it would be along with so much other media where a girl's crush on a guy won't pan out while another guy's crush on her will pan out. I like them as friends, and he's okay if not my favorite character. I just really, really, don't want them together.
